The new identity emerged in response to a pivotal moment in ACA’s history, reflecting the group’s evolution, international reach, and ambition for the future.

First dam project
A historic milestone marked by the contract award of our first dam project — the Pisão Dam. An emblematic project that reinforces the group’s experience in the water sector and its capacity to meet large-scale challenges.
2023
Strengthening forestry operations with Silvokoala
Integration of Silvokoala, a company with extensive experience in forestry, prevention, and rural fire-fighting, strengthening our commitment to the forestry sector.
2021
First steps in Bolivia
Entry into the Bolivian market, strengthening our presence in South America and expanding our operational reach.
2020
Major milestone: Porto Metro
First participation of the ACA Group in an underground project in an urban area. The simultaneous execution of the new Porto Metro lines (Pink and Yellow) makes this project the largest ongoing contract in Portugal.
2019
First project in São Tomé and Príncipe
In November 2019, ACA São Tomé and Príncipe launched its first project — three bridges over the Água Grande River.

Synerg
Creation of Synerg, a company combining forestry with the trade of forest raw materials, expanding operations in environmentally related sectors.
2018
Expansion into Cameroon
Entry into the market of the Republic of Cameroon, broadening presence in Africa and consolidating the Group’s position on the continent.

First real estate project – Login Foz
ACA Engenharia & Construção begins its activity in real estate development with Login Foz, its own project located in Porto.
2015
First operation in Poland
Start of operations in Poland with the establishment of ACA BUD and ACA RE POLSKA in the construction and real estate development sector.

Start of operations in Algeria
Further internationalisation through the launch of operations in Algeria, undertaking rehabilitation and construction works.
2013
Foundation of ACA France
Entry into the French market through the establishment of ACA France, dedicated to civil construction and infrastructure.
2011
Entry into Brazil
Launch of operations in Brazil through the foundation of ACA Brasil, with a focus on civil construction and roads & infrastructure.

New companies in Angola – VivAngola and AmbiÁfrica
Creation of two new companies in the Angolan market: VivAngola, specialising in distribution and logistics, and AmbiÁfrica, providing environmental solutions.

Foundation of IELAC
Foundation of IELAC, a company specialised in electrical installations, telecommunications, and renewable energy systems.
2008
Establishment of ACAMEDCO in Morocco
Strengthening internationalisation through the creation of ACAMEDCO in Morocco, operating in the civil construction and public works sector.
