ACA Board Reinforces Commitment to Brazil During Strategic Visit
From May 25 to June 1, ACA’s Board of Directors, represented by CEO Alberto Couto Alves, Alberto Luís Couto Alves, Hélder Pinto and Sandra Paredes, directors of the group Holding, travelled to Brazil to monitor ongoing projects, engage with local teams and explore new growth opportunities. The visit comes at a significant moment, as ACA celebrates 15 years in the Brazilian market.
The programme began in Recife, Pernambuco, with a visit to a section of the Transnordestina Railway under development, followed by a stop at the Júlia Santiago Bridge, a completed infrastructure project already generating positive impacts for the local community.
The Board also travelled to Brasília to discuss the launch of the Goiânia North–South BRT, an urban mobility project recently awarded to ACA. The development includes 4.8 kilometres of infrastructure, 10 stations and a terminal, further strengthening the group’s presence in the country.
In Rio de Janeiro, the Board met with ACA’s corporate teams in a session that brought together representatives from across the organisation. The meeting provided an opportunity to share the company’s vision, align priorities and discuss future challenges and opportunities. The day ended with a lunch gathering, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and proximity that defines ACA’s culture.
The visit concluded on June 1 with tours of several project sites in Rio de Janeiro, closing a week marked by close engagement with teams, valuable knowledge sharing and renewed confidence in ACA’s opportunities in Brazil.
