Structural interventions and waterfront improvements

The redevelopment of Marginal 12 de Julho in São Tomé and Príncipe is making significant progress in Lots 2 and 3.

Ongoing works include coastal stabilisation, drainage system installation, wall construction, paving, and the implementation of cycle paths. These interventions are transforming the waterfront, enhancing safety, improving mobility, and creating better conditions for public space use.

The works are being carried out to high quality standards and in accordance with the project’s requirements, aiming for a lasting and efficient solution. This project has a direct impact on enhancing the territory and connecting the city to the sea, consolidating this coastal area as a structural axis of São Tomé.
