AmbiÁgua is developing the Montemor-o-Velho Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), designed to serve an equivalent population of around 3,740 inhabitants.

This facility incorporates advanced MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) technology, enabling highly efficient biological treatment and ensuring high-quality treated water.

For solid-phase treatment, the WWTP includes gravity thickening systems, followed by mechanical sludge dewatering with centrifuges and silo storage, ensuring complete and integrated management of the waste generated.
