AmbiÁgua is developing the new Paúl Water Treatment Plant (WTP), in the municipality of Leiria, designed to significantly increase water abstraction and mineralisation capacity.

With a treatment capacity of 950 m³ per hour, the facility incorporates automatic calcium carbonate replenishment technology and is prepared for the implementation of a remote management system, ensuring greater efficiency and operational control.

The project will strengthen the supply to a population of approximately 175,000 inhabitants and equivalents, ensuring greater water availability and more efficient management of water resources through borehole L9.
