ACA Brasil continues with the construction of Ponte Júlia Santiago, an infrastructure project that will connect the neighbourhoods of Areias and Imbiribeira, crossing the Tejipió River and improving the connection between Avenida Recife and Avenida Mascarenhas de Moraes.
With a length of 2.3 kilometres, the project includes building a 335-metre-long bridge and widening Avenida Tapajós and Avenida Engenheiro Alves de Souza.

The new bridge, regarded as the largest built in Recife in the last four decades, will be 20.4 metres wide, with four traffic lanes, two pedestrian walkways, and a cycle lane. Currently, all piles have been completed, along with 90% of the foundations and 85% of the precast beams. Preparations are under way for the launch of the long beams, a stage marking the start of the superstructure.
On the Imbiribeira side, the embedding of the telecommunications network and the relocation of the water and sewage networks have been completed, with 70% of the drainage network finished. On the Areias side, work is under way to duplicate Avenida Tapajós, embed the telecommunications network, relocate the water supply network, and install a new drainage system.
